Avaissance, the initiative aimed at uplifting emerging digital artists and fostering growth within the Avalanche NFT ecosystem, is delighted to unveil the first cohort of grant recipients for its renowned Artist in Residence program (AIR).

The impressive list of initial grant recipients can be found below. Furthermore, Ava Labs and the Avalanche Foundation are thrilled to announce the launch of two pioneering NFT marketplaces and a groundbreaking partnership with a leading Web3 firm that will bridge the gap between the physical and digital realms at upcoming Avalanche events.

Superchief Gallery NFT: A Gateway for Authentic Culture

‍Superchief Gallery NFT, renowned for its commitment to supporting underground artists and propelling them onto the global stage, is joining forces with Avalanche in the development of a groundbreaking marketplace designed by and for artists. Established in 2012 in New York City, Superchief Gallery has dedicated itself to championing aspiring talents.

Now, Superchief embarks on a new chapter of artist support with the introduction of the Superchief Gallery NFT Marketplace on Avalanche. This innovative platform will serve as a nexus between the esteemed Web2 and Web3 art communities, cultivating an extraordinary space that embodies authentic cultural experiences.

Zeroone: A Sharing Ecosystem for Passionate Creatives

In contrast to conventional transactional marketplaces, Zeroone presents a unique sharing ecosystem designed for like-minded creative enthusiasts. This innovative platform allows for the minting and collection of limited edition works without fees or monetary exchanges. However, in order to collect, participants are required to share their own creations.

Legitimate and Avalanche are announcing a partnership to bring the world’s leading “phygital” (physical-digital) infrastructure onto the fastest and most reliable blockchain ecosystem, catalyzing the rise of next-generation consumer retail applications.

Legitimate specializes in collaborating with culturally relevant brands to create physical products accompanied by captivating digital experiences. Their LGT Tags, securely encoded NFC hardware, enable brands, projects, and creators to connect physical products to customizable digital experiences powered by NFTs and Web3. This transformative process requires no coding skills or blockchain expertise.

Legitimate's protocol securely binds physical products to unique digital identities on-chain using LGT Tags. AIR Grant Recipients

AIR will give accepted artists a six-month opportunity to pursue a personal creative project while receiving funding, one-on-one mentorship, virtual workshop opportunities, and support from the Avalanche ecosystem. Artists can also attend educational sessions tailored to helping them manage successful careers.
